How To Unlock Bootloader On YU Yutopia



Yu launched YUTOPIA (YU5050), the company’s flagship smartphone, as it promised. It has a 5.2-inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) Quad HD IPS display with 91% NTSC color gamut from Sharp, is powered by an Octa-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and runs on Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop). It features a 21-megapixel auto focus rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, Sony Exmor RS IMX230 sensor, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a full metal body and a fingerprint sensor on the back.
It has 4GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage with expansion slot and packs a 3000mAh battery and Quick Charge 2.0 that can charge from 0 to 60% in just 30 minutes. It has LTE support, including support for 4G LTE bands (TDD B40 2300MHz and FDD B3 1800MHz) for India. It has hybrid dual SIM support that lets you use the second nano slot as a expansion slot when required. It has Around YU, an integrated discovery platform that lets you find everything you need with a single touch. It has Smart PA TFA9887, DTS and Tri-Mic technology for Stereo Recording and Active Noise Cancellation.

HOW TO UNLOCK BOOTLOADER ON YU YUTOPIA:

Step 1: Open the command prompt inside the Fastboot folder, by opening the Fastboot folder and pressing and holding Shift key and right clicking inside the Fastboot folder. Now select open command window here. If you have installed the ADB and Fastboot drivers system wide then you can just open the command prompt.
Step 2: Boot Yureka Plus into Fastoot Mode.
  • Power off Yureka Plus.
  • Press and hold the Volume Up key and connect it to PC.
Step 3: Now enter the following commands to unlock bootloader on Yureka Plus.
fastboot -i 0x1ebf devices
This command will show the list of devices connected to PC in Fastboot Mode. This confirms whether your device is successfully connected to PC or not.

Step 4: Now type:
fastboot -i 0x1ebf oem unlock
This command unlocks bootloader on Yureka Plus YU5510. It also wipes all of your user data and settings. So you have to setup your device again.
This command will reboot your device to normal mode.
